Our Vision

The Mississippi Alliance of Nonprofits and Philanthropy envisions effective and efficient nonprofit and philanthropic organizations throughout the state, working together to improve the lives of the people and communities of Mississippi.

  • ENDOW MISSISSIPPI

    The Community Foundation Network, an affinity group of The Alliance of Nonprofits and Philanthropy, has worked with key elected officials as they introduced legislation in both the Mississippi House and Senate that would establish tax credits for charitable gifts made by individuals, businesses, and organizations to endowed funds held by community foundations in Mississippi.

The Alliance, in partnership with CIRCLE, a non-partisan, independent research organization at Tufts University focused on youth civic learning and engagement in the United States, is hosting a Broadband + Democracy Civic Leader Convening aimed at empowering civic organization leaders to drive positive change in broadband equity and youth civic engagement .

This in-person only event will be held Thursday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Alliance Training Facility located at 2600 Lakeland Terrace, Jackson, MS 39216. During our event, you'll explore CIRCLE's latest research on broadband equity and civic participation among youth, unpack data and engage in collaborative discussions, and glean insights to support your work with youth and civic engagement.
