The Director for the Mississippi Consortium for Higher Education in Prison provides administrative and project oversight to the MCHEP Steering Committee and any subcommittees that it develops. The Director will work to strengthen, expand, and develop a strategic vision for the consortium with direction and support of the Steering Committee and through the creation of systems and policies related to fiscal management, budgeting, management of interns, coordinating meetings, archives and record keeping. This position is a full-time, grant-funded position for three years contingent on performance, with the opportunity for continued employment depending on future funding. Hiring decisions will be made by the Woodward Hines Education Foundation in consultation with the MCHEP search committee. The Director will be an employee of WHEF and will be expected to comply with WHEF’s personnel policies.
