MS Alliance Statement of Values
The Mississippi Alliance of Nonprofits and Philanthropy (“the Alliance”), as a statewide support organization for the nonprofit and philanthropic community will hold itself to the highest ethical standards and continuously strive to model best practices through its actions and its supportive services for its members and the broader nonprofit and philanthropic community.
Statement of Values
The values of the Alliance include:
- Commitment to the public good;
- Accountability to the public;
- Accountability to our members and to the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors across the state of Mississippi;
- Commitment to the highest legal and ethical standards;
- Respect for the worth and dignity of individuals;
- Inclusiveness and social justice:
- Respect for pluralism and diversity;
- Transparency, integrity and honesty;
- Responsible stewardship of resources; and,
- Commitment to excellence and to maintaining the public trust.
These values inform and guide the actions that the Alliance will take in further developing policies and informing its practices.
