A coalition uniting and empowering Mississippi nonprofits with shared policy goals and objectives to develop strategies and winning advocacy campaigns that further advance their mission.
Why apply for the Collective?
Whether you are based in an urban or rural setting, every nonprofit has the right to pursue advocacy to advance their mission.
Advocacy brings new resources in support of nonprofit programs and services, is capable of changing policies that improve outcomes, and empowers and builds nonprofit organizational leadership.
Successful advocacy requires building coalitions across shared policy goals and objectives and “the Collective” is designed to unite nonprofits to work together to develop strategies and winning advocacy campaigns.
When, where and how often will the Collective meet?
The Alliance will host ten, monthly in-person sessions held in-person at the Alliance training facility in Jackson.
Who is eligible, does it cost and how many in a cohort?
The program is exclusive to current Alliance members at no cost! Each cohort is limited to 10 participants.
