Individual Diagnostic Tool

Diagnostic Tool (Individual)

Nonprofit staff, board, and volunteers vary in experience and knowledge; however, they work or volunteer for organizations that provide critical services to the communities they serve. Many find it a challenge to learn and implement the best practices of nonprofit management in their everyday work.

This diagnostic tool helps you discover what gaps you may have in your knowledge and practices of nonprofit and philanthropy management best practices and national standards. After you complete the diagnostic, The Alliance will send you a report of your responses.

We will use this data to help us determine what workshops and capacity building to schedule in the future. This data will also assist you on your professional development pathway.

Organizational Diagnostic Tool

Diagnostic Tool (Organizational)

Nonprofit organizations come in many shapes and sizes. They provide a variety of programs and serve distinct geographic areas with paid staff, volunteers, and community assistance. One thing they all have in common is the need to be effective, efficient, and healthy organizations. The most successful organizations have strong executive leadership, established relationship-building practices, and a commitment to building their capacity to serve. In short, these organizations have a clear picture of where they're going and what additional skills and capacity they need to get there.

This diagnostic tool helps your organization discover what gaps you may have in your knowledge and practices of nonprofit and philanthropy management best practices and national standards. After you complete the diagnostic, The Alliance will send you a report of your responses.

We will use this data to help us determine what workshops and capacity building to schedule in the future. This data will also assist funders and community leaders in their search for organizations that are ready to partner in projects that matter.
