Biography
Serrie is the Founder of Zest, a branding and communications agency for social change organizations. She works with nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises from around the world to create thoughtful strategies, authentic brand identities, and fresh communications to help them achieve their mission.
Serrie moved to Memphis in 2019, after spending more than a decade working in the nonprofit sector in Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong, her roles included the Communications Lead at the Li & Fung Foundation, the corporate foundation of Li & Fung, and the Fung Group, where she was responsible for the strategy and execution of inspiring a culture of purpose in over internal 40,000 stakeholders. Serrie was also the Marketing Communications Manager at Mother’s Choice, a nonprofit serving children without families and pregnant teenagers, where she spearheaded a major rebrand and led initiatives to position Mother’s Choice as the organization of choice for clients and supporters, and a thought leader in the sector. She previously co-founded Synergy Social Ventures, a nonprofit supporting startup social ventures in Southeast Asia and China.
Serrie is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shaper Community, a network of young people selected for their talent, potential, and commitment to make a difference in their community. Serrie has a BA in International Relations, Political Science from Duke University.
