Civic Engagement Collective

A coalition that unites and empowers Mississippi nonprofits with common policy goals and objectives, working together to develop effective strategies and impactful advocacy campaigns that advance their collective missions.

Why apply for the Collective?

Whether you are based in an urban or rural setting, every nonprofit has the right to pursue advocacy to advance their mission.

Advocacy brings new resources in support of nonprofit programs and services, is capable of changing policies that improve outcomes, and empowers and builds nonprofit organizational leadership.

Successful advocacy requires building coalitions across shared policy goals and objectives and “the Collective” is designed to unite nonprofits to work together to develop strategies and winning advocacy campaigns.

  • Identify common causes and share ideas.

  • Provide experiences in civic engagement.
