Margo Christian-Brooks is a powerhouse in the nonprofit and small business development sectors, with a distinguished career spanning decades. A master grant writer, she has secured over $150 million in funding from federal, state, local, and foundational sources for nonprofit organizations across the country.
Her extensive expertise includes training and development, organizational development, strategic planning, capital campaigns, planned giving, and event planning. Margo has also successfully managed numerous multi-million dollar federal grants and contracts, consistently achieving 100% compliance.
Much of her professional journey took place in Chicago, IL, where her diverse talents also led her to the writing department of Harpo Studios on the weekly series Brewster Place. She has worked with film production crews, served as an event planner with Paramount Productions, and played a vital role in small business development, helping businesses secure 8(a) Certification and achieve Disadvantaged/Women Business Enterprise (D/WBE) status.
