When not teaching in her professional capacity, Rachel is a Zumba instructor, Sunday School teacher, ukulele tutor, and community organizer.

Rachel is also teaching herself to rollerblade again as an adult. Watch out, Jackson!

Biography

Biography

Rachel Glazer is a nonprofit educator working with communities across the South to engage in meaningful learning experiences. While earning her B.S. in Psychology at the University of North Georgia, Glazer discovered a passion for experiential education during summers on staff at URJ Camp Coleman. This work led her to Jackson, MS in 2016, where she has found a community of other educators, organizers, and performers. She is currently the Assistant Director of Education at the Institute of Southern Jewish Life, where she guides a team of emerging young professionals as they contribute to the ISJL’s mission of supporting, connecting, and celebrating Jewish life in the South.
