BEAM Guidance Meetings for BEAD “Challenge Process”
The Alliance is partnering with the B.E.A.M. (Broadband Expansion and Accessibility of Mississippi) to host community engagement sessions across the state for additional guidance on designing and conducting your BEAD “Challenge Process” (Broadband Equity Accessibility Deployment) under which a unit of local government, nonprofit organization, or broadband service provider may challenge a determination made by the Eligible Entity in the Initial Proposal as to whether a particular location or community anchor institution is eligible for BEAD funds, including unserved or underserved areas.
